The CITRIS Foundry’s startup support and commercialization activities are now part of the Academic Innovation Catalyst (AIC), which builds on the Foundry’s legacy by helping UC researchers move promising discoveries from the laboratory toward real-world application.

Through early-stage funding, mentorship, entrepreneurial education and connections to industry, AIC equips researchers with the resources and guidance to evaluate the commercial and societal potential of their innovations and chart a path toward broader adoption.
